Infrared heating represent a real alternative to the existing heating systems, like oil, gas, solid fuel heaters and air/water heat pumps and offer many economic advantages.
No complex heating systems with appropriate piping is needed with infrared heating. The infrared heaters come equipped with a power plug, the only thing needed is a fused power socket. With infrared heaters there is no danger of damages, as in aquiferous systems.
Substantial savings already result with the initial costs. No installation of piping and radiators as well as the burner.
With infrared heating no maintenance costs accumulate, – the system is absolutely maintenance-free. Hot springs must be controlled and certified annually – the costs are clearly higher than € 100.00 per year and hot spring/furnace.
Gas and oil prices rose substantially over the past years, the electricity tariff recently (at the end of 2012) was lowered*. On a long-term basis cost of electricity is easier to be prognosed than oil and gas prices.
*applies to Austria
Infrared heating can be regulated by programmable thermostats like all heating systems. It only has to be heated if actual need exists.
